My name is Sister Louise Labuschagne,

I am the Nursing Supervisor at Cancercare Panorama.

I met Mrs. Lucille Pegg at our Practice to introduce her amazing products Hair Fantastique Wonder Hair Treatment.

She explained to us her hair and scalp treatment and how it works Lucille was kind enough to give us 5 sample to hand out to patients to test and use The results were very effective with excellent results, they could use the treatment while going through chemotherapy treatment, and ongoing post chemo therapy.

The Patients were given a kit each consisting of a Shampoo Intensive Treatment Cream and an Intensive Treatment spray They had clear instructions on how to use them on the box and the individual products.

The Treatment was easy to apply and the patients found I soothing to their tender scalps.

No wigs were required which can cost thousands of Rands.

Daily application was done and as instructed.

New regrowth started within 2 weeks of the treatment.

A full head of hair of at least 5 centimeters from start of the application of Wonder Hair Treatment Program.

Trials were conducted at the I Can Cope Centre in the Western Cape National Cancer Centre.

This is a support group of patients suffering from cancer.

The Product Hair Fantastique Wonder Hair Treatment was used to conduct trials for Chemotherapy induce Hair Loss Clinical trials were conducted by Oncology Sister Linda Greef CTN to ascertain the response of the Hair Fantastique Products presented to the National Cancer Association.

176 Patients were used in the test trials.

The trials were conducted for 3 months.

Patients who participated were purely on a voluntary basis.

We had no drop outs on the trials which I found to be unusual as previous trials resulted in many disillusioned patients with other trials I have conducted in the past.  All were very happy to continue and the moral of the patients were very improved with the positive outcome of rapid hair re-growth.  The product was applied to half heads of the patients for two weeks.  The hair re-growth showed amazing results and the patients were not happy to apply on one side once the results were positive.  The patients continued to use the product on their entire heads.  The results were astounding 3-4 centimeters of re-growth in three months.

The results were seen as follows:

1. No side effects were experienced by patients such as Nausea the smell did not affect the already sensitive sense of smell
2. They found it easy to apply
3. The products had no drugs or hormones so no side effects were experienced
4. The formulations are natural and contain no toxins
5. No Eye irritation was experienced by any patient on the trials

All patients were examined and screened by Dr van der Merwe and asked to whether they would participate in trials for my thesis.  After Dr van der Merwe personally conducted random testing to see if negative side effects were present, I was approved to commence my research to ascertain the efficacy of Hair Fantastique.

Hair Fantastique

This Lotion was used in a randomised trial, but supplied to patients who had previously  suffered from Hair loss from Chemotherapy.

It was given Prophylactically  to Patients who were going to receive Chemotherapy.

Patients who received lotions prophylactically received 50% success in retaining their hair, but we know that all cancer patients necessary lose their hair with Cytoxic Therapy

The lotion, was however, successful. In resulting in quicker hair re-growth by 6-8 weeks  taking place and producing better quality of hair.

This is to certify that I have used the “Hair Fantastique” products, including the Wonder Hair Treatment for my patients with male and Female pattern baldness and Alopecia Areata.

The Fact that this product contains no drugs or side effects was a great advantage. I felt comfortable to prescribe the product for young children as the alternative treatments which resulted in scalp irritation and the Cortisone injections were painful and my mind not pleasant.

Cortisone  did not have the best results as the hair was grey at  first and very demoralising and embarrassing for children.  The tufts of grey hair is very sparse to say the least did not do much for their moral.

I especially recommended the product for Cancer Patients and the results were miraculous to say the least I must add the smell of the product did not affect their smell or cause nausea.

The patients experienced rapid regrowth which made them feel very positive about themselves as the expressed that hair loss from chemotherapy is such a visible side effect which made them very self-conscious and the results put them in a very much better frame of mind.

I also found the cost of wigs and their upkeep was very costly and time consuming for the patients and they mentioned how itchy and uncomfortable they were to wear they complained of sweaty and smelly wigs from scalp perspiration.
